I was born in Banjul and live in Serrekunda, Western Gambia. I am the founder of Birding Adventures Gambia, vogelreizengambia.nl and birdingadventuresgambia.nl, and I am your expert guide for photography tours in Gambia and Senegal. I am passionate about discovering and capturing the wonders of nature in West Africa. As a recognised and licensed guide of both the Gambia Birding Association and the Gambia Tourism Board, I offer birdwatching and photography tours designed for both beginners and experienced photographers who wish to capture the rich biodiversity of Gambia and Senegal.

After extensive research on the internet and reading all kinds of information, I finally opted for a photography/birdwatching trip with Fatou Colley from Birding Adventures Gambia. The trip itself? Amazing. Everything went smoothly, I saw and photographed a huge number of birds, and everything was organised down to the last detail.
